ImagePlay 0.1.6 Released!
I’ve released ImagePlay 0.1.6 today for MacOS X. There’s a long list of minor changes, but the most notable are in the interface.
* Projects Browser has been refined and simplified.
* Starting Points window looks much nicer, and includes a new templates list
There are numerous under-the-hood changes and optimizations as well, so go check it out!
It’s very time consuming to do a MacOS 9 release, and the Windows version has a few complex bugs that need to get fixed. So to save time, this release is MacOS X only.

Very cool little app! I had fun playing with it just now and thought you’d enjoy seeing my brief blog post about it. My only criticism at this point is that you need to do something with the effects pane. It’s way too cramped to work with a library of effects that big. If you can make the pane resizable (like the layers pane), or perhaps turn it into a drawer, that would be great. On my system, there’s only room for 4 or 5 items in the entire effects library to be visible at one time.
Best of luck with this… and congratulations on such a great project!
Cheers,
Leland
