ImagePlay News

More new features for the next ImagePlay release…
* Rulers, custom DPI and other Print-related features, the info window now displays the physical dimensions of the project
* Effects now retain their results when you toggle them on/off, this allows you to easily compare before/after results, it saves a lot of time when tweaking layer effects

Some other nice improvements…
* Performance enhancements on several effects, Hue and Saturation are much faster
* Screen Magnifier is now significantly more efficient on MacOS X
* The Memory Manager’s purge process is now threaded, this means the program doesn’t lock up when freeing memory of idle images, yea!! Unfortunately, loading images back in when they are needed is still annoyingly slow, so the default setting is to never purge.

Version Goals:
- 0.1.5 ~ Implement an easier interface, fix outstanding quirks
- 0.2 ~ Text Layers, Shape Layers, more abstract manipulation of layers

  1. Hi, just try it. Fun. Just 2 bigs problems. First the program unadvertely change the picture size after some opening. Like lost the crop effect but internaly retain one of the crop spécification so the picture was haft their height.
The other problem. In osX is the accented caracter. If I write something like À it show ok print ok. But, when opening again the file, each accented caracter are replace by 2 ackwards one like réjeanne is now reÃÅjeanne.
